Adopted from an ingenious 19th-century Japanese design, the Step Tansu is not only a beautiful piece of furniture but also makes a wonderful room divider and double-sided storage unit with five drawers and a sliding door cabinet. Built in one piece, both sides are finished identically and is completely reversible. Hand-crafted of Elmwood with interestingly hand-forged metal hardware. Hand-applied dark cherry finish.
