This extra long chest is great for placing at the end of king size beds (see shop for more sizes). Also works great as a storage bench in a mudroom or entryway. It’s clean and simple design mixed with the character of reclaimed wood makes it work in a variety of decor styles – from rustic and farmhouse to coastal and industrial. It also works great at the end of a bed. It prevents smashed fingers with a soft close feature which holds the lid open and closes it slowly when lowered. Note: the boards on the front of the chest may be made from long pieces or from multiple pieces. If you have a preference please include a note with your order. SIZE The chest shown in the photos measures 66?long x 14?deep x 18?tall. It is photographed with a queen size bed. If you would like it customized to a different size just send us a message. WOOD & STAIN OPTIONS This trunk can be made from different wood such as oak or cedar (depending on availability). We can also accommodate various stain requests. Different wood and stain options will start with a $50 additional fee. Contact us for more details. ASSEMBLY This item will ship mostly assembled. Only the feet on the bottom will not come attached, but assembly is very straightforward. MATERIALS This product is made from lumber salvaged from barns in rural Missouri. Due to the nature of barn wood, each item will have it’s own unique characteristics. No two are quite the same!
