If you are struggling to decide which ventilator is the right fit for you, consider the range or cooktop this hood will cover. 250, 350, and 390 CFM ventilators are generally designed for electric cooktops, while 500 CFM and higher are designed for gas cooktops. Note: This hood does not fit the Ascension 900 and 1200 CFM ventilators. In order to fit the 900 and 1200 CFM ventilators you will need the XL version of this shiplap hood. Standard chimney hoods are designed to fit a 9′ ceiling application. The chimney extension is trimmable and can be cut down to fit shorter ceiling heights. If you need additional extension please contact us. Additional extensions are available for an added cost. Range hoods are large shipments and thus are shipped LTL freight.
