“Stratified & Liberty” Handed Painted Dimensional Wall Art

Diptych Set – 22″ x 2.8″ x 72″ each. This mixed-media piece utilises iron wall sculpture to create an extruded, 3D effect. The image shows a great spire, tapering into a bleak sky, with a ruddy sheen and glimmers of light reflecting here and there. This very tall piece is strangely evocative of skyscrapers like the Empire State, yet on the surface represents a more geographical feature. The other image of the Statue of Liberty is both iconic and surprising. The stance of Lady Liberty is unmistakeable, with her torch held aloft and her spiked crown, but this representation through strips of iron changes the classic image.
